I have used Tara’s experiences and services for over 15 years. Originally we worked together and I supported her in a classroom surroundings; she is always organised, informative, supportive and always with a friendly and understanding manner. Since then both my children have had one-to-one sessions with Tara to overcome children’s life stresses, which have always been successful.  Tara is there to guide with many situations in life sharing her knowledge either directly or through her blog ‘Parenting Geek’ and always with a professional and caring attitude. I have many times recommended her services to friends and family and will continue to do so.

I could waste a lot of  time and effort worrying about the kind of mum I’m not. I’m a bit of a poor housewife. I don’t iron anything, ever. I clean my house minimally and mostly if people are coming. I used to do it properly, but have lowered it’s place in the priority list […]

  • Pantomime- it’s much better than sprouts at Christmas.

As a child, pantomime wasn’t part of our family Christmas traditions. We went to the cinema and theatre but never to pantomime. The first time I ever went was a 19 year old, with my then boyfriend and his family, as they did go, every year on Boxing Day. It mustn’t have been a great [...]

So Much of a Child’s Life is Spent at School For over six hours a day, on five days a week, for thirty nine weeks of the year, the majority of UK parents entrust the care of their children to the school system and its teachers and support staff. Education is deemed to be a […]
